Feeder fish, including feeder guppies or goldfish fry, are sometimes suggested in older care guides but carry significant risks. Feeder fish from commercial sources are often kept in overcrowded, disease-laden conditions and can introduce parasites, bacterial infections, or viral pathogens into an otherwise clean tank. Beef heart, raw meat, and processed human foods have no place in a dwarf frog's diet.
