Aspergillosis is a treatable condition, but treatment is challenging, prolonged, and not always successful, particularly in advanced cases. Antifungal medications form the cornerstone of treatment, typically administered for months to fully eliminate the infection. Supportive care helps maintain the bird's strength during the lengthy treatment period. Early detection dramatically improves prognosis, as treatment initiated before extensive tissue damage occurs has much higher success rates.
