A practical weekly enrichment rotation for a single adult plated lizard might allocate specific enrichment types to particular days. It is important to retain at least one familiar hide and the primary basking spot in their original locations during any rearrangement so the lizard has a known safe anchor point from which to investigate the changes.

Tracking enrichment activities and the lizard's responses in a simple log provides valuable data over time. Recording what enrichment was offered, how the lizard responded, how long the engagement lasted, and whether there were any negative reactions allows keepers to refine their rotation based on individual preferences.
