Ensuring optimal nutrition in the weeks leading up to metamorphosis and maintaining impeccable water quality throughout the process maximizes survival rates, but some losses are inevitable. Successful completion of metamorphosis, with settled juveniles grazing on prepared foods, represents a significant achievement in marine fish breeding.

Conditioning & Nutrition for Breeders

The reproductive success of Flame Angelfish is directly linked to the physical condition and nutritional status of the breeding pair. Fish that are well fed, healthy, and free from stress produce more eggs of higher quality, which translates to higher fertilization rates and better larval survival.
