Your vet will determine the appropriate dosing because rabbit-safe doses differ from those used in dogs and cats, and some products that are safe for other animals are toxic to rabbits.

The goal is finding the right balance between protecting your rabbit and not over-treating with medications that have their own side effects.

Seek immediate veterinary care if your rabbit develops sudden head tilt, loss of balance, circling, or rolling, as these neurological symptoms could indicate active E. cuniculi infection or another serious condition requiring urgent treatment.
