These concerns are legitimate but manageable with thoughtful design. Choosing enrichment items that are easy to remove, clean, and rearrange addresses hygiene concerns. Positioning items away from enclosure edges and ensuring that climbing structures do not provide access to ventilation openings or screen tops eliminates escape risks.
