Variety and Occasional Feeders

Fireflies and other bioluminescent insects are acutely toxic to amphibians. Body condition monitoring replaces arbitrary insect counts as the most reliable guide to portion sizing. A healthy adult Cuban Tree Frog has a smoothly rounded body profile, well-defined but not protruding limbs, and skin that sits close to the underlying musculature without visible fat rolls or loose draping. Tympanic membranes should be clearly visible and not obscured by swelling.
