Changes in activity level, sleep patterns, and movement are often the first subtle signs that something is wrong, and technology can help you detect these shifts before visible symptoms appear.

A rosella's small body mass means that even modest weight changes represent a significant percentage of total body weight. Weighing the bird at the same time each day—ideally first thing in the morning before feeding—creates a baseline that makes trends immediately visible.
