Cardiac disease in rabbits can present subtly, as prey animals instinctively hide signs of illness. Thorough diagnostic evaluation including physical examination, electrocardiography, echocardiography, and sometimes blood pressure measurement establishes the specific diagnosis and guides treatment decisions.
