A healthy adult Stimson's Python displays clear, bright eyes between sheds, smooth and unblemished scales, a gently rounded body profile, and quiet, effortless breathing. The snake should respond alertly to disturbances, showing awareness of movement and vibration near its enclosure without excessive defensiveness. Annual veterinary checkups are recommended for adult Stimson's Pythons, even in the absence of obvious health concerns.
