Common Health Issues in Fry

The most common problem is fungal infection, which appears as white cotton-like growths on the body or fins. Fungal infections in fry are almost always secondary to poor water conditions or physical injuries sustained during birth. Maintaining pristine water quality is the best prevention, and mild cases often resolve on their own once conditions improve.
