High-grade tumors, which contain more aggressive cancer cells, are more likely to recur after treatment and more likely to metastasize. The prognosis for dogs with fibrosarcoma varies based on multiple factors but is generally favorable for tumors that can be completely removed and are low to intermediate in grade.
