The Miniature Fox Terrier, affectionately known as the Mini Foxie in its native Australia, is a small, fine, and lightweight working terrier that presents a balanced, smoothly muscled appearance reflecting its heritage as a swift and agile hunter. Standing between 9.5 and 12 inches at the withers and weighing 8 to 12 pounds, this compact breed possesses an athletic build perfectly suited for quick movements and the ability to spring after prey.
