Prolific breeds that commonly produce twins and triplets may benefit more from creep feeding than breeds with predominantly single lambs. Triplet lambs compete intensely for milk and almost always fall behind singles and twins in early growth. Creep feeding gives these disadvantaged lambs access to nutrition that levels the playing field, potentially turning triplets that would have been culls into marketable animals. If your flock regularly produces large litters, creep feeding makes particularly strong economic sense.

Section 6 Common Mistakes To Avoid
