Check under the chin, along the jaw, across the back, along both sides, the belly and mammary area, the groin, and around the legs. Tumors discovered early when they are small are almost always easier to remove, have better surgical outcomes, and are less likely to have spread compared to tumors that go undetected for months.
Maintain a written record of any lumps you find, including the date discovered, location, approximate size, and any characteristics you notice.
